SBI Investment Portfolio Company Nearthlab Achieves Its First-Ever Quarterly Profit… Posts KRW 17.4 Billion in First-Half Revenue and Begins KOSDAQ IPO Offering
- Nearthlab, an SBI Investment portfolio company specializing in physical AI, has achieved a quarterly profit for the first time since its founding and has formally begun its public offering for a KOSDAQ listing.
- Nearthlab's first-half revenue grew more than sevenfold year on year to KRW 17.4 billion. The defense segment, led by an export contract for its swarm loitering munition ‘XAiDEN’ to the Middle East (approximately KRW 14.9 billion, the largest drone export by a Korean company), accounted for 86% of revenue, while the enterprise business, including wind turbine inspection, also grew 38% year on year.
- Having proven both growth and profitability by extending the AI autonomous flight technology it built in the wind energy industry into defense, Nearthlab plans to accelerate its KOSDAQ listing by holding investor relations sessions with domestic and international institutional investors starting July 15.
