SBI Investment Portfolio Company DIGITRON Raises KRW 10 Billion in Pre-IPO Funding… Pursuing KOSDAQ Listing in the Second Half of 2027

  • DIGITRON, an SBI Investment portfolio company specializing in defense components and modules, has closed a pre-IPO round of about KRW 10 billion from six institutional investors, including SBI Investment and IBK Venture Investment. The company has appointed NH Investment & Securities as its listing underwriter and, with this funding, plans to step up preparations for a KOSDAQ listing in the second half of 2027.
  • Based on high-performance, ultra-precision radio frequency (RF) and real-time embedded signal processing technologies, DIGITRON develops and produces components and equipment for defense applications such as guided weapons, surveillance and reconnaissance, avionics and electronic warfare, and also supplies core components for ‘Cheongung-II,’ which is exported to the Middle East. Its customers include LIG Defense & Aerospace (LIG D&A) and Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), and with an order backlog of more than KRW 100 billion as of the end of September, it is targeting annual revenue of more than KRW 40 billion this year.
  • The funds will be used to expand production facilities and for working capital, to respond to growing demand for defense components and strengthen mass production capabilities. CEO Lee Jong-kook said, “Building on our stable order backlog and earnings growth, we will continue to strengthen our business competitiveness while preparing without a hitch for a KOSDAQ listing in the second half of 2027.”
