SBI Investment Portfolio Company Youngkwang YKMC Files for KOSDAQ Preliminary Listing Review… Competitiveness in Core Semiconductor and Display Components Recognized

Youngkwang YKMC, an SBI Investment portfolio company and integrated manufacturer of core components for advanced semiconductor and display equipment, has submitted an application for KOSDAQ preliminary listing review to the Korea Exchange, with Daishin Securities as lead underwriter.
Established in 2012, the company is engaged in precision machining, special surface treatment, ultra-precision cleaning and assembly of large-area metal components used in semiconductor and display manufacturing equipment. Building on technology accumulated over about 40 years since 1989 by CEO Jang Kwan-seop, a master craftsman in surface treatment, it has expanded its position in the global advanced equipment supply chain.
As the company expands its growth portfolio beyond semiconductor and display components into high-performance glass manufacturing equipment, aerospace and fuel cells, this filing is expected to give momentum to its renewed bid for a listing.
