SBI Investment Portfolio Company RideFlux Files for KOSDAQ Preliminary Listing Review… Seeking to Become Korea’s First Listed Level 4 Autonomous Driving Company
- RideFlux, an SBI Investment portfolio company specializing in autonomous driving AI software, has submitted an application for preliminary listing review to the Korea Exchange for a KOSDAQ listing, seeking to become the first Level 4 autonomous driving software company to go public in Korea.
- The company previously passed the technology evaluation with ‘A’ ratings from both specialized evaluation agencies designated by the Korea Exchange, and has raised a cumulative KRW 88.2 billion. As the only company in Korea to obtain a temporary permit for driverless autonomous operation without a safety driver, it has accumulated more than 3,300 hours of real-world data in the Sangam area of Seoul. Since July, it has also been generating freight revenue by operating 25-ton autonomous trucks on a regular schedule with Hanjin along the 116 km Gunsan–Jeonju–Daejeon route.
- The company plans to launch a public driverless robotaxi service in Sangam within the year and expand its business through projects such as late-night autonomous BRT buses in Busan and the Gwangju autonomous driving pilot city project with Hyundai Motor Group, with the goal of listing on KOSDAQ in the second half of the year.
