SBI Investment Portfolio Company GREEN PLUS Wins Its First Smart Farm Order in Jeju… Completing Its Nationwide Track Record

GREEN PLUS, an SBI Investment portfolio company specializing in advanced greenhouses and smart farms, announced on the 21st that it has won the contract for the ‘Jeju Smart Farm Education Center Construction Project’ led by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Agricultural Research and Extension Services, marking its first entry into the Jeju region.
To be built on the site of the agricultural seed farm in Bongseong-ri, Aewol-eup, Jeju City, the education center will serve as a hub where local farmers can systematically learn and practice smart farming technologies within the province. It will be designed for greater durability and operational stability, reflecting Jeju's climate conditions such as strong winds, high humidity and salt damage.
With this contract, GREEN PLUS now has a track record of winning and building smart farm projects in every province and metropolitan region of Korea, including Jeju. It plans to broaden its participation to smart farm deployment and facility modernization projects in Jeju and support the training of skilled local farmers.
