SBI Investment Portfolio Company Innotech Supplies AI Vision Reliability Test Equipment and Expands MLCC Orders… New Pyeongtaek Plant to Boost Capacity 3.5-Fold
- Innotech, an SBI Investment portfolio company and the exclusive supplier of foldable reliability test equipment to Samsung, has developed combined-environment reliability test equipment incorporating an AI vision solution and delivered it to a major customer. The equipment can detect defects even under high-speed operating conditions and convert real-time video into data.
- With its plants running at full capacity and orders for semiconductor and MLCC (multilayer ceramic capacitor) inspection equipment continuing, Innotech plans to expand production capacity about 3.5 times through a new plant at the Pyeongtaek Brain City site, a project costing about KRW 26 billion in total (construction began in July 2026, with completion targeted for March 2027).
- Current orders are being manufactured for delivery in the first half of next year. The company is also developing high-value-added equipment, including next-generation MLCC inspection equipment targeted for mass production use in 2027, LED light source-based environmental degradation testers and rapid chambers, and is expected to expand its business from a display focus into semiconductors and MLCCs.
