  • PLCOskin, an SBI Investment portfolio company specializing in regenerative medical devices, has been selected for the ‘Global TIPS’ program newly launched this year by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Technology and Information Promotion Agency for SMEs (TIPA). It will receive a total of KRW 5 billion in government R&D funding from 2026 to 2030 to advance its R&D and overseas regulatory approvals.
  • Together with Yonsei University and Sookmyung Women's University, it is researching a drug-eluting follow-on product, ‘TissueDerm BCS,’ designed to both suppress local recurrence and reconstruct tissue after partial mastectomy for breast cancer. Sales of its flagship product ‘TissueDerm’ have jumped 2.5 times over the past two years, and the product won a CES Innovation Award in 2024.
  • PLCOskin is pursuing entry into the Chinese and U.S. markets in parallel, targeting product approval from China's NMPA in 2029 and FDA 510(k) clearance in the United States in 2027. Building on distribution agreements in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Taiwan and Mexico, it also plans to pursue a technology-based special listing in the future.
